Hi, Dare 2B Artzy friends!

Tasha here from CraftyPinkPixie.com sharing a fun nail polish gift box created with the Flip Flops and Flowers For Mom stamp sets!

The box was constructed from pink cardstock and I layered navy blue D2BA pattern paper to each side; love the blue and pink color combination!

The flip-flop images were stamped in black ink and colored with markers. I layered clear glitter on top to give some sparkle and adhered a pretty pink rhinestone to each for more shine.

The sentiment “To A Special Friend” was stamped in black on coordinating pink cardstock. I layered pink glitter paper behind the sentiment and around the peek-a-boo circle opening. In addition, I made a large bow from the same pink glitter paper and added a larger pink rhinestone to the center. There is always room for extra shimmer!

Lastly, two nail polish bottles were added to complete the package. The flip-flops reminded me of painted toenails and I think this is a great gift option for the summer season!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are inspired by today’s project.

Hi, Friends!  It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram.
I hope you are getting a little time to relax this summer!  Just looking at this tranquil little scene puts me in a better state of mind!

This easel card was created using two stamp sets from Dare 2B Artzy, Shine On and Flip Flops.
I began by stamping the lighthouse and the flip flops with Totally Black ink.  They were colored with the following Copic markers:
Lighthouse E30, E31,E23
BG01, B02, B05
R14, R37
C1, C3, C5
Flip Flops B00, B21, B24
BG05, BG13
R14

The background was created with Vintage Photo, Faded Jeans, Fossilized Amber, and Broken China Distress Oxides.  A few splashes of water, and I was ready to dry the background and stamp the birds and the sentiment.  After cutting out the lighthouse and flip flops with the coordinating dies, I popped up the lighthouse and flip flops with foam tape.  The dimension on the flip flops provides the easel card with the mechanism to stand up.

Now Go Get Artzy…We Dare You!!

Hi, Dare 2B Artzy Fans!  It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram!  I am celebrating the arrival of summer by sprucing up my planner with some colorful flip flops, a cool glass of lemonade, a relaxing Adirondack chair, and a flower the color of sunshine!

I just couldn’t resist adding these adorable flip flops to my planner as flip flops are my footwear of choice for the entire summer!!!

After coloring the images with Copic markers, I added some Wink of Stella and Sakura Glaze pen accents to the straps.  Don’t those colors and sparkle just transport you to a happy place?

The Adirondack chair, flip flops, lemonade, and the “happy summer” and “hello sunshine” sentiments can all be found in the Flip Flops stamp set.  This set has coordinating dies which make it so easy to use the images on a variety of projects from cards to planners to mixed media!  The flower is from the newly released Playful Posies set.  This is a layering set so you can just stamp it…no coloring required!

I used the Happy 4th of July sentiment from the Patriotic Owl stamp set. I have put this stamp set to good use this year!  You might recognize the sentiments from this previous cascading card.

I hope you are having a fabulous summer!  I am headed back to my craft area to make another card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Summer Blog Hop.  Don’t forget to enter your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate themed projects for a chance to win some great prizes like those from Super Sponsor ***Dare 2B Artzy!***

Happy stamping! Melody

Hi Dare 2B Artzy friends!

Tasha here from CraftyPinkPixie.com sharing a new summer card created with the Flip Flops stamp set!

d2ba1

To create this fun card, I made a base from white card stock and layered bright yellow pattern paper on top.

d2ba1.3

To add some sparkle, I used gold glitter paper for the center and scored the paper down the middle to allow it to bend. The gold is so pretty and looks great with the yellow!

d2ba1.5

I adhered the pull tag to the center of the card and when it’s pulled up, it reveals a hidden message! Also, both the tag and inside of the card were ink blended with summer themed colors; I love the pink!

d2ba1.2

All the images were colored with markers and layered with tons clear glitter. The little citrus rounds and fun mason jar drinks are super cute and totally makes me think of a warm summer day!

d2ba1.4

Lastly, I stamped “Happy Summer” on the bottom with Pomegranate ink; one of my favorite colors! I also attached a second drink image next to the sentiment to complete the project.

I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to create with the Flip Flops stamp set!

Hi again! I’m Vickie Y and excited to share another card as the April guest designer.

Last week I mentioned in my intro that I live in a resort town. Our town is situated between two man-made recreational lakes. Growing up we spent a lot of time playing, waterskiing, and boating on each lake. When I saw the Live Love Lake stamp set I knew it would provide lots of special memories and creative FUN!

For my card, I used one of my favorite watercolor background techniques using an acrylic block, inks, and a water spray bottle, along with watercolor cardstock.
4 16 inks vky
I used the D2BA Tropical Ink Cubes to ink up the acrylic block (see below), then  spritzed it with water, and smooshed it down onto the watercolor cardstock and let it sit for a minute or two before lifting it. I let the cardstock air dry (a heat tool can be used to speed up the drying process).

Once the ink was dry, I trimmed the panel and then used the Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Premium ink to stamp the images and sentiment. I layered the stamped panel over the Dare 2B Artzy Slate designer paper from the D2BA Doodles Variety Paper Pack and dark blue card base.

Here is another card created using this background technique and the Flip Flops stamp set and the Flip Flops and Adirondack dies.

HI Dare2BArtzy friends!

Kelly here with another card to share with you as a Guest Designer for March.

Today’s card is using the stamp set Flip Flops as summer is going to be here sooner than we think!
This card has a lot of layers – perfect for the challenge this month: Lots of Layers.

First up, I inked the fun lemonade stamp, colored it with copic markers and blended it to give it a little ‘watery’ vibe.

There is an awesome matching die set to this stamp set – you can see that here.

I’ve fussy cut mine and added 3d foam dots to pop it up from the card.

Lastly, the sentiment is a wonderful reminder for all of us to take some time to unwind!

I hope today’s card inspires you to get inky with your Dare2BArtzy stamps and inks!

Inky hugs!
Kelly

Hi Dare 2B Artzy friends!

Kelly here on the D2BA blog to share another card as the guest designer this month!

Last week, I shared an arctic penguin fun card

Today, we’ll head into the sunshine for some sun and sand in our flip flops!
The beautiful stamp set that is featured on today’s card is called exactly that, Flip Flops!
flipflop6a
 Too fun!

Using my D2BA Totally Black premium die inkI stamped out the sentiment in the Flip Flops stamp set onto heavy weight white cardstock.

These inks stamp crisp and perfectly every.  single.  time!

I then stamped the adirondack chair onto textured paper to give it a wooden, weather look.

Take a look at the amazing inks that Dare 2B Artzy carries – fabulous and very juicy ink pads!!

I ran that through the die cut machine with a sloped, stitched die, added some twine and buttons and brightly colored paper to complete the beachy look.

The inside carries over the same theme as the front with the flip flops and another sentiment in the set.

This stamp set is truly wonderful ~ and one you can use over and over again for a variety of cards!

Hello friends!  kel from Scraps and photoGRAFFS here today to share a super fun but simple card using the lemonade jar from the Flip Flops clear stamp set in the Dare 2B Artzy Store.

D2BA-Lemonade-kelA

I thought that this was SO MUCH FUN to work with and matched the oranges paper I had in my scrap pile!!  I’m sending this to one of my best friends because she always tells me “when life gives you lemons…” and I replied one time “what happens when it’s oranges??”  haha.  It might not be a funny joke but it still cracks us up!!!  lol!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!!

lovies, =o) kel

Welcome Dare 2B Artzy fans!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N Make Cards to share a fun card with you!!

Today I am featuring the awesome new Flip Flops stamp set!

1a

Many times when stamping I think the the images need to be stamped in black in and then colored in!

But occasionally remind myself that it’s not true!!!

When I first got the Flip Flops stamp set I was ready to stamp the flip flop image in black and start coloring, as seen below:

3a

But as I was ready to color, I started thinking these flip flops would be so fun stamped in color!

So I did exactly that:

D2BA has some super fun ink colors!!

I used Paradise, Wild Orchid, Bright Pumpkin, Margarita Lime and Sunset Yellow!!

Here is my finished card:

I used a piece of Wild Orchid paper behind my sentiment layer and fun stamped flip flop layer!

How fun and bright!!
