Flower Card

Welcome Dare 2B Artzy fans!!  Karen N here from Craftily Yours!
Today, I used the Flowers for Mom set to create this:
D2B-flowers1
There are some great sentiments that come with the set, but I decided to leave it without a sentiment, so I can use it for anything.  I really LoVe the Dare 2B Artzy papers.  The patterns are so fun to mix.  The papers I used today are from the Modern Bliss collection.   One of the things I really love about these papers is that there isn’t a centimeter wasted.  The dotted pattern is the “edge” (where on the other side, the name of the papers is).  Very cool.  I finished the card off with some lace, ribbons and Nuvo Drops.
Here’s a close-up of that beautiful flower:

So much fun to color!  As you can see, I fussy cut and tucked another flower behind the corner.

A Fun Happy Birthday Card

For my card, I used the fun set Bright Birthday.  I had fun stamping a background panel, and then, I just cut it down for the layout that I wanted to use.

I totally enjoyed making this card!  I am quite thrilled with the end result too.

That is always a good thing!

Pop on over to the store and check out all the fun sets Cindy has!

Flowery Birthday Wishes

Say It Words

Hi Chris here from Psychotic Ramblings of a Serial Scrapper. Today I am excited to share this bright and cheery  birthday card.   I just loved the combination of the Pomegranate and the Margarita Lime inks together with the Totally Tracy Say it with Words Stamp Set!

To create this card, Stamp the  flower repeatedly with Dare 2B Artzy Pomegranate Ink onto white cardstock.  Stamp swirl with Dare 2B Artzy   Margarita Lime Ink.  Mat onto red cardstock and attach to card base.

Add cardstock strip to card as shown.

Stamp greeting from Dare 2B Artzy You’ve Got Mail Stamp Set and cut into banner.  Attach to card.

Stamp one extra flower onto cardstock and fussy cut. Attach to card.

Here is a close up of the card.

Boxed Set of 6 Note Cards

Hi everyone! Leslie here to share a Dare2BArtzy DT inspiration project with you today, a fun set of 6 boxed note cards using the Flowers for Mom stamp set, Paradise ink and Blissful Bloom paper.

I created another boxed set of 6 note cards. My inspiration originally came from a tutorial I found for a set created on a smaller scale, which you’ll remember I shared about a month ago, so I adjusted the measurements to accommodate regular A2 sized cards. My version has a magnet closure under the flap, and I also decorated the back of the box. I used the absolutely gorgeous double-sided Blissful Bloom paper layered on white cardstock, and of course, I used the decorative strip across the top of the 12 x 12 sheets which all Dare 2B Artzy papers have. I stamped the sentiment in Paradise ink, punched it with an oval punch and layered it on a scalloped oval. I embellished it with several tiny flat-back pearls.

I designed the ‘hello’ note cards to coordinate with the box, using both sides of the paper and the decorative strip. I stamped the sentiment in Paradise ink on a tab which I tucked under the strip, and added some flat-back pearls.

Be Bold – Mixed Media Card

Karen N here from Craftily Yours.  Today, I’m sharing a card that stretched my creative boundaries a bit using Totally Tracy Chipboard and the Be Bold Stamps.

D2B-hello2

For the background, I used Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink through a stencil.  For the flower, I used TH distress paint in Seedless Preserves, then stamped it in Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black ink and splattered it with white Dylusions Ink.  The center is Nuvo Drops.  Here’s a close up:

The strips of paper are from the Dare 2B Artzy, Artzy Doodles Collection.

I’m Thinking of You

Hi all it’s Vicki Dutcher from All I Do Is Stamp.  Today I made a clean and simple card.  I love seeing the black and white backgrounds with a pop of color with the main image, in blogland.  I just had to try it for myself.

I have fallen for this mandala type of flower from the Blissful Blooms stamp set.  It is so relaxing to color this fun image.  Today I used a monochrome of blues.  I kept the side border black & white to “pop” the flower.  I have to say, I am happy with this CAS card. :)

Have you tried this trend? It does make for a striking card, don’t you think?

I’ll have another post at the end of the month, so I will see you then~

Happy Easter Basket!

Hello!  It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram!

Spring is here, and it’s almost time for the Easter Bunny to pay us a visit!  I am ready for a chocolate binge with my Dare 2B Artzy Easter Basket!

Watermarked(2017-04-09-1848)

I started by cutting two 6″ x 6″ pieces of Fields of Blooms paper.  I adhered them together so that the dotted side of the patterned paper would be showing on both the inside and outside of the basket.  I then scored the paper at 2″ and 4″.

IMG_0632

I turned the paper 90 degrees and scored once again at 2″ and 4″.  The next step was to cut on the score lines from both sides to the center score lines as shown in the photo.

IMG_0634

After using a bone folder to crease all of the fold lines, I attached the handle which was formed by cutting a strip of white card stock at 1 1/4″ x 8″.  I used a border punch along both sides of the card stock and then adhered a striped piece of paper down the middle.

IMG_0637

To assemble the basket, I adhered the handle to the front of the middle basket section and then brought each side to the center and glued with a strong adhesive.  I repeated this process on the opposite side of the basket.

Then the stamping fun began!  I used flowers from Flowers for Mom and Doodle Flowers.  The hummingbird is from the Be Yourself stamp set.  Each of these sets has matching dies!

I colored with the following Copic Markers:
BG01, B04, B05
R14, R05, R29
YG03, YG17, G99

I added some accents with Wink of Stella and a white Signo Uni-ball pen.

I wish you could see the shimmer from the Wink of Stella!

Happy stamping!

Daisy Greetings

ChrisPozzi_0442wm

Hi Chris here from Psychotic Ramblings of a Serial Scrapper and today I am super excited to share this cheery card I create with Dare 2 B Artzy’s New Totally Tracy Find Your Purpose stamp set!

I started by stamping the flower image from this stamp set several times onto white cardstock filling my background piece. I then lightly outlined the flowers with Specturm Noir IB1 marker.

IMG_0432

The little pop of color added so much to the flowers! I then colored the flower centers with my Y15 Copic marker and added accents with my Spectrum Noir GB8 marker!  I matted the flower background onto black cardstock.

I stamped my greeting from the Blissful Blossoms Stamp set and matted it on black cardstock.  I added a Sunshine Artzy Doodle banner and a coordinating bow to finish off the card!

Hope you are inspired to get stamping!!!

Find your bliss

Hi everyone! Leslie here to share a Dare2BArtzy DT inspiration project with you today, a fun shaped card – a to-go coffee cup complete with a corrugated wrap, fun plaid paper and sentiments! This was a blast to make but definitely trial and error, as I didn’t make a prototype and ended up tossing the first one. But it sure was worth it because I absolutely love how it turned out!

2017_03120006a

I created the cup out of white cardstock and added a decorative band made of pretty plaid paper layered on orange cardstock along with a corrugated wrap. I cut the sentiment with a stitched oval die and adhered several loops of bamboo cord behind it for a little interest. I finished it with several Dot Sparklers.

Coffee and Spring – The Perfect Combination!

Good morning, coffee lovers!  It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram!
I am so excited to be participating in my very first Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Dare 2B Artzy is one of the Super Sponsors so our entire team is thrilled!

Watermarked(2017-03-09-1610)

I adore this Perfect Blend stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy!  If there was ever a stamp set created for masking techniques, this is it!
IMG_0590
After stamping my images with Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Ink, I stamped the coffee cup onto Inkadinkado stamping mask paper.  I fussy cut each portion of the cup apart so I could mask off different portions of the cup as needed.  Then the wild and crazy stamping frenzy began!  I pulled out a plethora of stamps that had smaller images and had a party in my craft room!  As you can see from the image above, it looks like a hot mess during the process, but once you remove the masks, the reveal is so much fun!

IMG_0055
These are the cups after masking and a little coloring.  I used the following Copic markers:
YG13, G02
R43, R14, R24
BG01, BG02

I used the stitched rectangle from the Leaf Background Die to cut a piece of Paisley Paper which I mounted on melon colored card stock.  This was then adhered to my card base.  Some of the cups were adhered directly to the paisley paper while others were mounted with foam tape for dimension.

I hope you have a great Monday and get to spend some time enjoying this fabulous blog hop!  Dare 2B Artzy is also offering a discount during the hop!

Happy hopping!  As the sentiment from Perfect Blend says, “May your coffee be strong and your Mondays be short!”
