Hi D2BA Friends!
Tasha here with a coffee themed Thank-You card created with the super fun “Perk Up” stamp set!

I love coffee themed stamps and this one is a great choice to use in a project for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

To create this card, I stamped the cute heart cup in black D2BA ink and colored it with markers. I used the same ink to stamp the steam and sentiment on the bright white cardstock.

The cup was adhered with foam tape to add some texture and I added a little blue ink on the steam to bring in more color.

To bring in even more color, I layered a piece of D2BA pattern paper on top of a pretty turquoise frame. The blue pops and really works well with the blue used on the mug.

Lastly, to complete the design, I layered the card on a metallic copper card base and added glitter and white gel accents to the stamped images. I think this Clean & Simple style is a perfect way to thank someone special!

If you are still working on Christmas cards, check out this super quick Christmas card using the Dare 2B Artzy Snowflake Wishes stamp set!

I began by masking off a stripe using Post-it Note tape.  Next, I used an ink blending tool to apply Dare 2B Artzy’s Midnight Blue ink.

Just keep applying ink until you get the shade of color that appeals most to you!  Remove the tape, and you are left with a beautiful, crisp blue stripe.  Let the ink dry or set it with a heat embossing tool.  Stamp the sentiment on the front of the card.

Next, arrange your snowflakes in a stamp positioning tool.  I used my MISTI.  After applying anti-static powder to my card base, I inked up the snowflakes with a WOW! Embossing Pad, sprinkled on some WOW! Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter, heat set the powder, and my card was finished!

Now I just have to make twenty more of these today, and I will have my Christmas cards almost ready to mail!

Don’t forget to enter your creations for the D2BA Spirit of the Season Challenge HERE.  You could be the winner of a D2BA stamp set and ink pad of your choice!

Dare 2B Artzy is also a super sponsor for the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  You can check out all of the fun HERE!  The blog hop ends December 15, 2017.

Happy stamping!

Welcome Dare 2B Atrzy fans!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N Make Cards to share a fun holiday card with you!

Can you believe it’s the 10th already?!  How are you doing on your holiday cards?

Usually this time of the year I resort to creating some fun and simple holiday cards!  So that is what I created for today!

Have you had a chance to see the two new stamp sets released; Holly Christmas and Holiday Magic?

They are so fun!!

I decided to work with the Holiday Magic set for my card today!

I was immediately drawn to the branch in the set!  It was screaming ‘wreath’ to me!!

I started by grabbing a few supplies:

Circle dies are perfect to use for lightly tracing around the outside to give you your wreath shape:

Even after tracing around the die, I sometimes go back and lightly erase the lines a little to be sure the are light enough, so that you won’t even end up seeing them after stamping!!

Now the fun begins!!

Add the branch stamp from the Holiday Magic stamp set to a clear block and begin stamping around the circle you’ve created:

I used the Margarita Lime Ink for my stamped branches!

Have fun with this!!

It’s okay to over lap the branches!

Here is a look once I got all the way around:

How fun!!

I decided to grab a darker green ink and add some more branches on top!!

I really like the look of the two colors!  Adds some dimension!!

At first I thought about adding some rhinestones to my wreath, but then decided it may be too much.  So I decided some berries would be fun.  Now to either create my own or find a stamp set!  Found the perfect berries!!  I ended up grabbing the Playful Posies stamp set!!  The grouping of three dots, is perfect!!  A total Happy Dance moment!!

After stamping the ‘berries’ I added Glossy Accents to each of them to give them dimension!  I then sprinkled glitter on the card base while they all were still wet to add some sparkle!!

My finished card:

Both sentiments are also from the Holiday Magic stamp set!

Aren’t the berries yummy?!?!

I am so in love with this fun and simple design!!

Have an ARTZY day!

Greetings!  Chris here and today I am sharing a scrapbook page I created.  I always take tons of pictures at Christmas but then struggle to scrap them after the holidays are over!  But I love adding stamping to my scrapbook pages!

Supplies needed include:

D2BA Tis the Season – Red Sweater paper (B side)

D2BA Tis the Season Stamp Set

D2BA Merry Christmas Layer Die

D2BA Ornament Die Set

D2BA Pomegranate Ink

Letter stickers

white, red and green card stock

gold wire cording

I started by matting my  D2BA Tis the Season – Red Sweater paper (B side) onto green card stock.

I cut a large red banner and stamped the flower from the D2BA Tis the Season Stamp Set with  D2BA Pomegranate Ink randomly over the banner.  I matted the banner onto white card stock and added to my background. I added my matted photos on top of the banner.

I die cut Christmas for my title using the D2BA Merry Christmas Layer Die.

I then cut ornaments using my D2BA Ornament Die Set. and then stamped the images with D2BA Tis the Season Stamp Set and D2BA Pomegranate Ink.

I added the ornaments to my page adding a wire bow to the ornmanents.

I finished the page by adding “wonder” with letter stickers and adding journaling and gold cording to top and bottom of the page!   I hope this inspires you to use your stamps on your scrapbook pages!

December Challenge: Spirit of the Season

Now here are some peeks at what I created!

I used Copic markers to color up this embossed version of the Poinsettia in my sketchbook.

And here are the colors I used:

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! Can you believe there are only 18 more shopping days until Christmas! Are you ready? If you are not, you are in good company! I like shopping for gifts, but I really dislike wrapping. I need a group of elves to come help me in that department. Wonder if Santa could lend me a couple?

Today I wanted to share a fun card that is so easy to put together using the fun Dare 2B Artzy Christmas bulb and scripty Christmas sentiment die from the Merry Christmas Layer Die set. It really plays into our December challenge theme, Spirit of the Season.

The Dare 2B Artzy Christmas bulb is a single bulb die cut and the little topper that goes on it, which is very nice because you can really do a multitude of things with it. For my card today, I wanted it to appear to be Christmas lights strung up along a pine bough.

I started by cutting a piece of black cardstock with a stitched rectangle die that was 4 x 5. Then I used a diagonal stitched die to cut that piece of black cardstock at an angle. It cut out a one ½-inch section of my cardstock at an angle. If you have a stitched border die, it would work perfectly as well for this.

Now that I had two pieces of cardstock, I used the little branch from the Poinsettia Tangle stamp set. I stamped it with some white pigment ink onto the cut edge of the black cardstock and sprinkled on some white glitter embossing powder and heat set it. I repeated the process all the way across the cut edges of both pieces of cardstock. I did reverse the angle of the branch for the top piece so that they stamped in the opposite direction.

Next, I was on to die cutting the little Christmas bulb and the connector from various pieces of scrap cardstock I had in my scrap bin. The nice thing about small dies is that they allow you to use up those scraps that you probably have laying around. I only have one little bulb so I cut about 15 of them from various colors. My arm got quite a workout making this card since I have a manual die cut machine. I believe you could probably layer up a couple of pieces of cardstock and cut through two at a time if your paper is not too heavy or if you added a shim.  I repeated the process with a darker green cardstock for all of the little toppers for the bulbs.

For each bulb, I glued the topper to the bulb and set an acrylic stamping block on it while it dried.

I had the scripty Christmas word cut from some glitter cardstock leftover from the turnabout cards I made for the December Challenge cards. I used that and ran it through my Xyron machine to add some adhesive to the back.

I cut an A2 size piece of red cardstock with my favorite scalloped rectangle die. I layered up the red cardstock with the black and put them all into my MISTI so that I could get the placement for my sentiment in the center of the card. I aligned all of the pieces of cardstock and then peeled back the adhesive sheet from the scripty Christmas word and placed it in the diagonal section onto my red cardstock.

I needed to add the Merry to the sentiment so I used the Merry Christmas from the Tis the Season stamp set and positioned it so that it was above the scripty Christmas. I masked off the Christmas part of the sentiment so that it would not stamp onto the card. Once I was happy with the placement, I inked up the Merry with some Versamark and heat embossed it with some Fine Detail White embossing powder.

Since the Xyron tends to leave some little sticky webbing between the letters on my Christmas script, I used an Adhesive Eraser and carefully removed some of the excess adhesive that was showing on the card front. There are lots of nooks and crannies, but it does a good job of getting the sticky residue off.

Next, it was time to glue the Christmas bulbs into place on my card front. I positioned them over the embossed branches and tried to fill in the gaps that were in a few places. Alternating colors, I glued each one down with some Ranger Multi-medium matte. Once they were glued in place, I once again placed some acrylic blocks over the top until the glue was dried.

Once everything was dried, I used some dimensional foam to pop up the black panels and the red cardstock onto my white top folding card base.

I added some red sequins to my card front to add some extra sparkle and I used some Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to all of the colored bulbs.

I do not know about you, but I think that Christmas lights are one of the best parts of the holiday season. Seeing the trees and houses all lit up really makes me, feel festive.

I hope you are enjoying the Spirit of the Season and finding joy in the simple things like lights on a tree, baking, wrapping and making memories with friends and loved ones.

Perhaps you are finding joy in creating a fabulous project for our December challenge, Spirit of the Season. There is still plenty of time to get in on the challenge as it runs through 12/31. Remember, you could win a stamp set of your choice. That would be a great way to start the New Year!

This is my last official post for the month of December for Dare 2B Artzy. The DT Members have a nice break to enjoy the holidays. I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year! I will be back on Wednesday after New Year’s!

Good Morning Artzy Friends

The card I am sharing this morning is one of the last Christmas card I need to make! So happy to be finished but I really do love making my cards!

  2. Glue the pieces to the front of the white card base.  Cut a piece of red card stock 2 x 4 and scallop the bottom.  Glue to the lower portion of the card as shown
  3. Use a scallop oval die and cut out the oval mount to the card front as shown with dimensional dots
  4. Using the Ornament Tangle stamp the ornament on vellum in versa mark then add the red sparkling embossing powder. Heat set the embossing powder and then cut out with the coordinating die

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N Make Cards to share a series of three holiday cards with you!!

Two of which I created a few months ago for a call Card Maker Magazine had and they were accepted!!

They are in the Card Maker Winter 2017 Issue pg. 37!!

It’s always so much fun to see your work printed!!

Here is a close-up of the two:

They were looking for quick and easy holiday cards!!  I love the simplicity of what I came up with!!

I used a strip of Winter Plaid paper on the right of each card.  And used the gorgeous Poinsettia Tangle stamp set to stamp the poinsettia in colored ink!  The sentiment is from the set as well!  I absolutely love this sentiment!!

Such a fun design to create a bunch of quick holiday cards!!

Here is one more I created for this post today:

I switched up by flipping the orientation of my layout and using a different sentiment!  I decided to add some pearls to the center of my poinsettia as well!!

Simple, yet so elegant!!

Hi D2BA friends!

Tasha here sharing a festive gift bag created with the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set

and new Merry Christmas Layer Die Set!

The shaker was created with D2BA pattern paper and I stamped multiple snowflake images on the inside card to give a fun wintery look. The “Warm” and “Wishes” words were stamped in a dark gray ink color to allow it to stand out.

The “Christmas” word was die cut from rose gold paper and adhered to the plastic layer. The sparkle is so pretty in the light and I like the pink and blue color combination. To continue with the same winter wonderland colors, I added metallic silver and opal sequins. They add tons of shimmer and match the top of the bag perfectly!

lastly, I added a little bow to the top made from silver snowflake paper and attached a glittery snowman embellishment to the center. Clear opal tissue was also added to the inside of the bag to complete the project.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and are inspired to create some gift bags this holiday season!

Have a wonderful day!

Hello, Friends!
It’s Melody from Handmade Card Happiness and Instagram.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Now it’s time to finish all those Christmas cards and get them in the mail!

Today’s card uses the newly released Merry Christmas Die from Dare 2B Artzy.

I die cut the Christmas lights from card stock and the ornamental top from gold card stock.  After adhering these two pieces, I covered the bulbs with Wink of Stella.  I wish my photo captured all that glittery goodness!

I stamped the poinsettia from the Poinsettia Tangle Stamp Set and cut it out using the coordinating Poinsettia Die.  The sentiment was stamped with Pomegranate Ink using a fabulous sentiment from the Tis the Season Stamp Set.  After stringing the Christmas bulbs onto some red and white twine, I mounted them to the card front using foam tape for extra added dimension.

This Merry Christmas Layer Die is one of many beautiful layering dies available from Dare 2B Artzy.  You can see even more of them HERE!

If you haven’t entered the November Gratitude Challenge, there is still time!  The challenge ends on Saturday, December 2.  The randomly drawn winner gets to choose a D2BA stamp set and ink pad!

Happy stamping!

Greeting Chris here and today I am super excited to share my card with you!   You can even see that cute sled I created for last week’s Blog Hop in the background.   My oldest daughter is an “OWL” nut so I love collecting owl stamps to create things for her!

To re-create this card you will need

D2BA Owl Be Home 4 Xmas Stamp Set

D2BA Totally Black Ink

D2BA Tis the Season – Holly Days paper

Markers (I used Chameleon RD3, NV3, NV4, BR5)

and jute, and green and white  cardstock.

I started out by stamping the Owl  and greeting from with the D2BA Owl Be Home 4 Xmas Stamp Set using the D2BA Totally Black Ink onto white cardstock.

I then Colored my Owl with my Chameleon markers and then fussy cut him out.

I added the D2BA Tis the Season – Holly Days paper to my card base and then matted a piece of the same paper (using the “b” side of the paper) onto green cardstock and added it to my card.  I attached my Owl and matted greeting and finished the card with a simple jute bow!

Hope you are inspired to get stamping!!!!

Welcome Dare 2B Artzy fans!!  Karen N here from Craftily Yours!
The Dare 2B Artzy Challenge this month is about gratitude.  Have you joined yet?  You should!  There’s a chance to win a fabulous prize!  We are grateful to you, our customers!  You are simply wonderful….like this card says:
I used leaves from the Embrace stamp collection and another leaf, a flower and the sentiment from the Blissful Blooms stamp collection.  To create the background, I randomly stamped the leaves with VersaMark ink and wet embossed using Ranger gold embossing powder.  Then I inked up with several Distress Oxide Inks (Lucky Clover, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey and Walnut Ink.  Then I colored the flower with C1, YG00, Yg03, YG06, YR12, YR14, YR16, Y13, Y15 and Y18. I cut the flower in half and used it to frame the sentiment.  I added some Nuvo inks for fun embellishment.  Here’s a close-up:

Craftily yours,

Hi all – Vicki here.  Today, I made a Christmas card.

I did some alcohol ink playing and loved it so much, I turned it into an ornament. [I just cut out a circle from the inked panel I had made.]  The Merry Christmas Layered Die is a new die available at Dare 2B Artzy.  I totally am loving the mixed font of this die.  [The price is very reasonable too!]

That’s it for me today.  I think I will be making a few more of these cards.  They are very easy to mass produce!

How are your Christmas cards coming along?

See you next month~

Hello Dare 2B Artzy Friends

It is Pam crafting with you today!  This is one of my last cards that I made for Christmas this year and in fact I am going to make several of them because I really love how it turned out and there wasn’t any copic coloring involved.

Design Steps:

  1. Use a cream colored A2 card base. Cut a piece of gold metallic card stock 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 and glue to the card front
  2. Cut a piece of cream card stock 4 x 5 1/8 and run it through an embossing folder but do not  glue to the front of the card yet
  3. Next use the Mini Ornament Die from Dare 2B Artzy and cut out 3 ornaments out of the gold metallic card stock.  Then using the top of the Christmas Bulb cut out 3 pieces out of silver card stock.
  4. Glue the ornaments together and attach the gold cord
  5. Place small dimension dots to the backs of the ornaments and pop to the card front.  Next tape the gold card behind the embossed cream colored piece of card stock then glue the cream card  stock to the card front
  6. Stamp the sentiment from the Ornament Tangle stamp set and layer it onto the gold card stock and then glue to card front as shown
