Happy Sunday, crafty friends! Guest designer, Leslie Turner from Love To Scrap 2, is back with us today to share one last card with us!

Hi everyone! Leslie here to share my final Dare2BArtzy GD inspiration project for the month with you today, a Christmas card using the You’ve Got Mail stamp set, Mailbox Gift Card Holder die and Winter Plaid paper. I’ve had a great time guest designing this month along side the D2BA DT and providing you inspiration! Thank you, ladies!

Okay, since my three previous GD projects this month have all been clean and simple, I created something with lots of distressing and tons of layers… my kind of card, lol! Can’t tell you how much fun this was! I created a card base slightly larger than A2 size (to accommodate the mail box die cut) and distressed the edges. I layered a distressed piece of the Winter Plaid paper on green cardstock, added a piece of crocheted lace and a scalloped border across the bottom, then adhered the entire panel to the card base.

I created the mail box using the die, stamped the sentiment on it, distressed it a bit, and added the flag with a tiny brad. Then I created a tiny envelope with a red heart closure (dies also in the mailbox die set), distressed it and adhered it in the mailbox. I went through my Tim Holtz Idea-ology Festive Ephemera Pack and picked out several pieces to use on this card, and distressed them all. I added a couple poinsettias from the pack to the upper left corner and proceeded to ‘stuff’ the mailbox full of all kinds of fun goodies! The finishing touch was a simple bow on the mail box.

For more details and additional photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap 2.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and will link up a creation with us this month! Be sure to check out all the fun stamps, dies, inks and papers at Dare2BArtzy! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Scrappy hugs,
Leslie

Hi Chris here and today I am excited to share this cute Halloween greeting.  I love when I can use my stamp sets for multiple seasons!

To recreate this card you will need the following:

D2BA Ruff Day Stamp Set, Totally Black Premium Ink, and Artzy Doodles papers in Bright Pumpkin, Wild Orchid, and Slate

Kraft Card Base, web border punch.

Start by stamping the bone all over the background of the card  and along the edge of the envelope. Punch edge of Slate Artzy Doodle papers and add to card.  Cut banner and punch scalloped circle from Artzy Doodles papers and add greeting!

The result? an adorable card for all your favorite ghosts and goblins!

Happy Stamping!

Welcome Dare 2B Artzy fans!!  Karen N here from Craftily Yours!
I love the zentangle feel of many of the Dare 2B Artzy stamps!  They are seriously so much fun to color, whether you are an expert, a beginner or somewhere in between.  I used one of the flowers from the Flowers for Mom set to make this:

Isn’t that FuN?!  The Copic markers I used to color the flower are:  B12, B14, B93, B95, B97, YR14, YR16, R24, R27, and some C1, C3 to highlight the white areas. Here’s a close-up:

The beautiful paper is from the Fields of Joy paper collection.  I really love it!  Have you “liked” us on Facebook yet?!  You should!  There’s all kinds of beautiful inspiration.  Be sure to also check out all D2BA’s products here!
Thanks for stopping by!
Craftily yours,
Karen

Hi all, Vicki here today from All I Do Is Stamp.  Today’s card is good for just letting someone know you are thinking about them.

I used the lovely Playful Posies Layered stamp set, with a sentiment from Blissful Blooms stamp set.

It is fun that you can actually layer the flowers too!

That’s all for me today.  We shall see you next month~

Hi D2BA Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween shaker card created with the “Good Witches Shoes” stamp set!

I love making interactive cards and this shaker looks awesome with the cute witch shoes and fun Halloween themed sequins!

The stamped image was colored with markers and embellished with gold glitter and white gel pen. The details in the shoe design are so cool and green stockings pop next to the pink background; love it!

The sentiment selected was “Happy Halloween” and it was stamped in black ink and framed with black glitter paper. I also attached a velvet scalloped ribbon along the bottom to add additional texture.

Lastly, I created a sparkly frame around the shaker window and layered it on black glitter paper.  A spooky pattern paper added a fun Halloween background and coordinating gray striped glitter paper was used for the base layer to complete the project. I love this pretty Halloween design and can not wait to send this card out!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to create a fun Halloween project with the “Good Witches Shoes” stamp set!

Have a wonderful Day!

Hi, Dare 2B Artzy Fans!  It’s Melody, and I think I might be dating myself with today’s title, but there’s nothing outdated about the new Mailbox Gift Card Holder Die from D2BA!

The wonderful thing about this mailbox is that it is large enough to accommodate a gift card!  With Christmas getting closer, I think I am going to be making several of these cards!

The coordinating stamp set, You’ve Got Mail, makes this mailbox applicable to every season.

For today’s card, I decorated the mailbox with stamps from the Poinsettia Tangle Stamp Set which I die cut with the Poinsettia Die.  The mailbox was created using the  Winter Plaid Paper which has this beautiful snowflake pattern on one side with  a gorgeous plaid on the other side.

I am sure you will find all kinds of ways to use this mailbox!  If you create any cards or gift holders with this fun set, please post them to Instagram using the hashtag #dare2bartzy.

Hope you have a great Monday, and thanks so much for stopping by!
Melody

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! Guest designer, Leslie Turner from Love To Scrap 2, is back with us today to share another card!

Hi everyone! Leslie here to share a Dare2BArtzy GD inspiration project with you today, a fun CAS friendship card using the Perfect Blend stamp set Coffee Cup die, scraps from several papers from the Artzy Doodles Variety Paper Pack and Totally Black ink. I’m absolutely loving this October guest designer gig and playing with more D2BA stamps!

I know I said the card I created for my last post was one of the most fun cards I’ve made in a while, but this one runs a close second. Super fun and super easy! And yep, you guessed it… another clean and simple creation! I shied away from them for so long, now I can’t get enough of them, lol! I stuck with the October challenge theme of Fall Colors and used Halloween colors of black, orange, purple and green! I prepared the card base and rounded the lower right corner. I cut a strip of white cardstock and rounded the two right-hand corners, then layered it on green cardstock and adhered it to the card base for a little interest.

I stamped the coffee cup three times on a small piece of cardstock and cut each one with the coffee cup die. I stamped the coffee cup again on small scraps from three of the papers in the Artzy Doodles Variety Paper Pack, making sure to get the cup wrapper centered on the scrap. I fussy cut each cup wrapper and adhered them to the white die cut coffee cups. I stamped a sentiment on one of them, then adhered them with foam pads to the front. I finished the card with dots of English Mustard Crystal Drops and a few Pewter sequins.

For more details and additional photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap 2.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and will link up a creation with us this month using Fall Colors! Be sure to check out all the fun stamps, dies, inks and papers at Dare2BArtzy! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time!

Scrappy hugs,
Leslie

Welcome Dare 2B Atrzy fans!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N Make Cards to share a holiday card with you!!

Have you begun to think about your holiday cards?!

D2BA has so many lovely holiday sets to work with!  You can check them out here, under the Seasonal Stamps section!

Today I am featuring one of the first stamp sets I fell in love with when I was first introduced to D2BA!  It still remains to be one of my favorite winter sets to work with!

I absolutely love the gorgeous snowflakes in the Snowflake Wishes stamp set!!

I started by first die cutting the snowflake die from my white cardstock layer!  I then stamped some of the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set to my liking around the edges!

Leaving room for the lovely ‘Snowflakes are unique…just like You.’ sentiment from the stamp set as well!!

So fun and beautiful!!

Doesn’t have to be a Christmas card, can be used to just put a smile on someone’s face during the cold winter months!!

Fall Colors!

For my project today I was thinking about another simple gift I could give friends or family for the holidays. I have a few list makers in my life (me included) so I decided to create this little note book all set and ready for list making. I used the Big bloom set to make the list pages on light weight copy paper and the cover on watercolor paper.

Once I had all the pieces I colored up the front cover, with Copics of course 😉,

And put it all together! I know exactly who is going to get this handy little notebook and she will LOVE it!

I have all the colors I used and a few tips for stamping the list pages as well as working with Copics on the watercolor paper over at my blog. If you have a chance stop by and wave hello.
