For my adorable card today I used the new Ruff Day stamp set!!

This adorable pup was so much fun to color!!  To add some fun to the image, I thought it was a fun idea to color the pups patches with some fun colors!
I love the corresponding “i wuff you” sentiment!
I thought this would be a super fun card to send either my son when we go to the cabin or send to my nephew!!
Bright and fun card for a kid!!

Hi crafters!
Simply Monica here with another card I made using the Get Well Smiles set and the Blooming Border 12×12 paper pack.  I decided to fussy cut some of the pieces from the actual paper and use it as my centerpiece.

I then took some Imagine Crafts GlazOn and coated it over the paper to give it a nice shine.  I then stamped the sentiment and matted it over some of the left over paper for a beautiful finished look!  You can see the nice shine in the picture that is up close.

I hope everyone enjoyed my post for today and be sure to join us for our first ever Dare 2b Artzy challenge starting the first Sunday in March!!

Hi all, it’s Kel from Scraps & photoGRAFFS!
Today I’m sharing a simple encouragement card featuring the Balloon Tangle clear stamp set!

I actually stamped the hot air balloon onto papers from the Artzy Doodles Variety Paper Pack using the Totally Black premium ink pad (new favorite Copic black ink pad!) and trimmed them out, then glued it all together. Super easy to do and came out super cute when put together!! It was so fast to color up nicely… all I had to color on this card was the brown basket, and it saved me probably 30 minutes of coloring lol! I stamped out the sentiment on a scrap piece of yellow leftover from matting the balloon and added a button and a twine bow to finish it off.

Love how this one came out. Hope you check out the Dare 2B Artzy store and see what else is available… there’s a couple more Hot Air Balloon sets too!!

Dreamcatcher revised 2

Today I am so excited to be able to share this gorgeous stamp set called Dream Catcher with you. This is one of the many fun new stamp sets for 2016 at Dare 2B Artzy.  This set features 9 stamps total, two of which are sentiment stamps. You will not believe the amazing detail of this stamp set, you’ll just have to get your hands on one and start playing so you can see the detail for yourself.

To create my card today, I stamped the dreamcatcher centerpiece twice using embossing ink and heat embossed it with a Champagne colored embossing powder.

Next, I used three of my metallic gelatos in teal, blue and purple and added color to the center medallion on one of my embossed images and on the other I added some gelato color using a paper stump on just the outer edge of the dream catcher and the little circles. Once my color was added I burnished the color around with my finger to make sure all the white areas were covered. I added a tiny bit of water to the areas I’d colored and blended the colors a bit until I was happy with how it looked. I carefully blotted them dry so as not to smudge the colors too much. I fussy cut both the center medallion and the whole dreamcatcher and layered the center medallion onto the larger dreamcatcher for a dimensional feel.

I used the same technique on the feathers, stamping two each of the larger feathers and one of the small feathers. After I’d added my color and blended with water, I used the die set that’s available for the feathers in this stamp set so I wouldn’t have to fussy cut the feathers out. Of course the dies cut the feathers perfectly.

I die cut a pierced circle that was a bit larger than my dreamcatcher and layered them together with some dimensional foam.

I had some silver thread so I decided to use that to dangle my feathers from the dreamcatcher. I think it gives the card a nice touch. I poked small holes in each of my feathers and doubled knotted the thread and looped it through the bottom of my pierced circle and tied it off.

For my background I embossed a piece of white cardstock with a feather embossing folder that I thought coordinated nicely. I layered that onto some of my shimmery light gray cardstock for my card base.

I positioned my dreamcatcher and feathers onto the embossed cardstock and secured them in place using some dimensional foam.

Finally I stamped the sentiment, “To Catch your Dream you have to Chase it” using some embossing ink on white cardstock and heat embossed it with the same Champagne embossing powder.

Dreamcatcher revised 1

I am thrilled with the way this card turned out. The Dreamcatcher stamp set is so fun and versatile. I know I’ll need to add the other coordinating stamp set Dream Big to my must have stamps.

Looking forward to seeing your creations using this wonderful new stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy.

Hi crafters!  Simply Monica here with my first official post as a design team member for Dare 2B Artzy.  Here at D2BA you will find fun whimsical designs, doodles, clean and simple and the list goes on and on.  Today I created an elegant card using Butterfly Tangle along with the matching Butterfly dies.

Hi, Chris here and today I am sharing this stunning card I created using Dare 2B Artzy Dream Catcher Stamp Set.  I am having so much fun with this set.  For this card I started by cutting my card 8 x 5 1/2 inches.  Instead of folding it i half I scored my card at 2 inches and 6 inches and folded the “flaps” to make make my card front.

I then cut my front panels slightly smaller (1 1/2 x 5) and stamped the 2 front panels with the Dream Catcher stamp and my Candied Apple Distress Ink.  I matted the 2 front panels on black card stock and adhered them to my card. I added a chip heart to which I had re-colored with my distress ink and added a small piece of a paper doily. I adhered to the left front of the card allowing a small bit of the heart to over hang the right panel.  I then topped it off with a black ribbon bow.

I then set to work on the card inside.

You can see here I stamped the Dream Catcher off the bottom right of the card.  I added a few stamps of the Dream Catcher bangles to the top of the card.

For my sentiment, I only needed the “DREAM” word from the stamp set’s sentiment.  So I used my distress marker brush tip to ink up only that word.Chris_DrmCtchr3

To finish off the inside I matted everything on black Cardstock.
I just love the finished project and the multiples uses you have for this stamp set!
