I love the new Dare 2B Artzy die cuts. The newest one is the Hot Air Balloon die that goes with two of our stamp sets. (Hot Air Balloon & Lift Your Spirits)

You will be able to create some beautiful cards with these two sets and die cuts.

Blessings to you as we start the new year!

They are here! Great stamp sets with lots of sentiments. It is hard to find good quality Spanish sets until now.

The packages in the “Celebra Hoy!” card uses a two step technique. I stamped the gift on the base card stock in black and then again on the colored card stock. I just cut along the simple square shape and placed it on top of the base card stock and added a little bling.

Hope you have fun with these sets and let everyone know that we carry some fun Spanish stamp sets.

Blessings, Cindy

Taking a break from Christmas cards to bring you some birthday inspiration. This card is entered in the SCS challenge: F4A195. Stop by to see more cards to inspire your creativity.

It is sometimes hard to make a good masculine card but the key is some great paper. Here I used We R Memory Keepers.   The cake in this Dare 2B Artzy “More Cake” stamp set can be used for anyone. I just pulled colors that would compliment the paper.  This card will be great for my brother.  Hope he doesn’t see this blog before his birthday.

My second card uses our new Spanish birthday set. It has many of the same sentiments.  I used Bella Blvd paper here.

Here is another card to get you
thinking about your Christmas cards!

I am using my new Dare 2B Artzy “Owl Be Home 4 Christmas” owl stamp set along with the new owl die cut to match.  You will want to order this one soon so you have time to make your Christmas cards and gift tags.

This card is entered in three SCS challenges:
SC462 Sketch Challenge – This is a fun sketch with lots of layers. The final size of my card is 4.5×4.5.

CC452 Color Challenge –  We had to chose from 4 shades of teal/blue and grey.  I used the same colors in my last post. I love these for Christmas because it is different then the expected red and green.

TLC455 Technique/Paper Piecing – I have not used this technique very often so I really wanted to try it here. I really like the way the scarf turned out and because I used it on his head and feet it looks like he is wearing matching hat and boots!   I stamped our owl on teal paper, white paper and grey patterned paper.   I used the Dare 2B Artzy die cut on the teal and grey papers then cut out the grey pieces to glue to the teal owl. I used a 5/8” circle punch for the eyes.

I have a huge “To Do List” but it is much more fun to make cards, so here is another card I stamped up this morning for a Split Coast Stampers challenge.  We were given the following 5 colors to chose from and had to pick at least 3.

I had fun pulling out the Dare 2B Artzy Time in a Bottle stamp set for this one. I wanted it to feel like a love letter in a bottle floating in the water.  That may be a bit of a stretch with the water but I still like how it turned out.

Joy to the World!

I have been playing with some Christmas card ideas and I would love to hear from you.
Here are two cards using the same Dare 2B Artzy stamp, “Christmas Song”.  They have a very different feel.
The first one I kept it clean and simple but added the silver embossing technique to add a classy touch.  I love silver emboss on white but I had to add a little color so I chose to pop the bird in red.

The second card has a more country feel to it. I went with a classy paper by BoBunny. I chose a deeper red and green ink and I used Tim Holtz distressing ink for the edges of the paper.  I just had to add the little red bird again on this one.

Now I need your help. Let us know which one you like best and why? Leave your comment and we will draw for a lucky winner. You will receive one of our newly released sets from our “Feather Friends” series.

Check out the new Artzy diecut that goes with it for only $8.99.

I just returned from a fun scrapbooking weekend with friends at Zanetrace in Ohio.  I wanted to share with you some fun pages I did. I am working on my daughters scrapbook to give to her for her high school graduation this year. I am a bit behind.

It is kind of hard to see it in the photo but I stamped the small leaf on a patterned piece of paper, then I trimmed it out and popped it up and curled the edges of the leaf a little to give it dimension.  I used our new Give Thanks stamp set.

Here was a quick birthday layout. I embellished with the birthday cake and colorful pennants. It is ok to keep it simple.  I used the More Cake stamp set for this layout.

We had a great weekend scrapbooking and stamping at the “Zanetrace Craft Farm”. A little wine and lots of good food. Take a look at this stuffed french toast with local maple syrup. Wow…it was amazing.  Can’t wait to return.

Have a great week and have fun stamping in your scrapbooks!!!!
Blessings, Cindy

You are going to love this “Welcome Baby #13105” stamp set.  It is perfect for baby announcements, an invitation to a baby shower or a congratulations card. I also used the “Swirl #13106” stamp set on the inside of the buggy in this first card.

Once you have had that bundle of joy you are going to want to keep all those memories in a photo album.  This set will enhance any scrapbook page.

How I made this tag pop:
Step 1: Stamp the buggy using (Paris Dusk) Blue Memento ink onto white card stock.
Step 2: Stamp buggy image again using a Pink Memento ink onto a small patterned card stock. (you could also use very light pink card stock)
Step 3: Trim out just the basket part of the buggy and use pop dots to raise it off the page.  The buggy illustration has a double outline so trim to the inside line leaving the ruffle and outside line for detail.
Step 4: The “it’s a girl” stamp fits perfectly inside the basket of the baby buggy and use a little “Stickels” to add some bling.

This sample is an 8×8 page layout but the images would work great on any size scrapbook layout.  Change up the colors for your little boy.  Stamp your babie’s name in the little onesies across the top of the page. There are so many possibilities.

Hope you enjoyed these samples.  This stamp set #13105 Welcome Baby is our “Stamp of the Month” for September so you will receive a 10% discount just include this CODE at checkout: SOM10.

Have fun stamping!
Blessings, Cindy
